高三二模英語(yǔ)試卷部分答案

書(shū)面表達(dá)(滿(mǎn)分25分):

參考范文:

Dear Gary,

I’m very glad to know that you arecoming toChina.Of course, a Chinese name will help you better fit in with the new culture.

The biggest difference between Chinesenames and English names is that we put the family name first. A Chinese nameusually consists of two or three characters, which often carry some specialsignificance or expectations. As you are an energetic and warm-hearted boy, Irecommend you the name 李陽(yáng), Li Yang. The family name, which isshared by billions of Chinese, has the same pronunciation as yours. The givenname means the sun in Chinese.

I hope you like your new name and have a really good time inChina.

Yours,

Li Hua

(Text 1)

W:   Do youalways do some exercise on the weekend?

M:   No. I justwant to relax at home on the weekend. Ioften watch a DVD with a pizza or something.

(Text 2)

M:   Do you haveany special plans for tomorrow? If you’d like, I can treat you to the moviestomorrow afternoon.

W:   Well, I havea doctor’s appointment at noon, and I’m going to have dinner with my brother atsix. I could probably enjoy a movie in between, since it’s your treat.

(Text 3)

M:   Phew, it’sreally hot in here … and the seat is so small … now where is my seat belt?

W:   It’s here.You haven’t travelled by air before, right?

M:   No …unfortunately.

(Text 4)

W:   Oh, Joe. The Spanish test nearly drives me crazy.I study very hard but I still can’t manage to pass it.

M:   Really? Ifind it easy and learning Spanish is interesting.

(Text 5)

M:   Hi, Mary.It’s Rick.

W:   Hi, Rick,How are you?

M:   Did you knowit’s Sandra’s birthday on Sunday? We’replanning a surprise party for her at my house. Can you come?

W:   Sure, I’dlove to. I love surprise parties.

(Text 6)

M:   What areyour favorite types of entertainment in your spare time?

W:   I lovemovies! I could watch a movie at home every night. I think movies tell movingstories about modern life, and you canget completely lost in it, forgetting about the stress in life and work.

M:   Yeah, I agree. But I prefer the playsmyself. I know plays aren’t as realistic as movies. I mean, you have to imaginea lot of the setting, not like in the movies. But I like the fact that you haveto use your imagination more.

(Text 7)

M:   Hello, I’m calling to check on abike that I ordered last week.

W:   Sure, couldyou tell me your name or order number?

M:   My ordernumber is 9372-928. It’s for a Ranger 5000.

W:   Ah, it lookslike the bike was shipped yesterday and should be in tomorrow or Friday. I’llbe working for the rest of the week, so I’ll keep an eye out for it and call youwhen it’s in. Please give me a numberwhere I’ll be able to reach you.

(Text 8)

W:   Hi, Pete, have you read this article about the solar farm they’re planning to build?

M:   No, where’sthat? In Asia?

W:   No, in Africa. This plant will supposedly provide upto 15% of Europe’s energy needs by 2050. Peopleare often unhappy about the noise of wind farms, but that isn’t an issue withsolar power.

M:   I saw a documentary at the weekend aboutrenewable energy inScotland.

W:   Really? It’snot exactly the perfect spot for a solar farm.

M:   No, not solar energy, but wave energy. It could provide up to ten timesScotland’s electricity usage.

(Text 9)

W:   Can I helpyou?

M:   Yes, I’dlike to borrow these five books please. Am I allowed to borrow that many atonce?

W:   Of course. The limit is ten per day. But I’llneed to see your student ID please.

M:   Here youare.

W:   Uh oh! Youcan’t borrow any books. According to the computer, there was a book … It was borrowed under your name and stillhasn’t been returned. That makes it three weeks overdue.

M:   Oh no! I lent it to a friend. She must haveforgotten to return it to me, and I forgot all about returning it to you.

W:   Well, thecomputer will not allow me to lend you any other books until that one isreturned and the fine is paid.

M:   What can Ido now? I need these books to beginresearching a paper I have to write.

W:   You couldget a friend to borrow them for you. Or, there’s a copy machine right over there. Why not just copy the sectionsyou need right away?

M:   That wouldcost me more than the fine.

(Text 10)

M:   Goodafternoon, I want to thank Professor Johnson for giving me the chance to talkto you today about Alaska. One of the things that concern me most is the future of the Alaska environment. About twenty years ago, before going on some wilderness research, I visited Anchorage, the largest city in Alaska. It was a small city of 40,000 people surrounded by a quiet wilderness. When Imade a recent trip there, I found amazing changes. Anchorage now has a hundred and eight thousand people, more than four times as many as in 1960. There’re tall buildings, shoppingcenters and all the crowds and traffic jams. The forests and mountainsare still nearby, but they seem so small compared to the city’s great size. The discovery of oil in Alaska brought increased wealth to thestate. However, there have been too many people moving to Alaska in a very shortperiod to work on the pipeline. There is not enough housing ortransportation.

I think Alaska must makeimportant decisions soon. Alaskans need to decide how to develop their naturalresources and mineral wealth without destroying the wilderness and harming thewildlife. What is decided on now will affect the generations to come.

For today’s lecture,I’ve brought along many of the pictures I usually show in my environmentalscience classes in my own university. First,I’ll show you some pictures of Alaska’s wilderness as it is today. ThenI’d like to outline my specific suggestions.
